Dungeon Siege Developers Guild Newsletter - 3/31/02
Welcome
Greetings from the local Guild Writer! I will be keeping everyone updated on the guild news by sending a biweekly newsletter. I hope that everyone has found their niche within the guild, but if you haven't, don't worry, this newsletter just may solve your problems!
How Do I Submit News?
Some of you may have some juicy tidbit of news that you would like to be included in the next edition of the newsletter. If so, all you have to do is write it in an email, include all the necessary details, and submit it to dsdevguild_news@hotmail.com. It is that easy!
Anything that you feel should be announced to the guild or any important advancements within your projects are all newsworthy events, so feel free to let me know so that I can tell the world!
Reminders
Just a few reminders for you:
The guild webpage has been updated recently, in case you have not checked it, now might be a good time to do so! Some items of importance that you might want to view:
The Team - check out who the local guild directors are! Still under construction, so double check to make sure everything is OK!
Code of Conduct - this is pretty self-explanatory.
Titles and Roles - interested in a guild position or want to view the roles available within each project, check this out!
Ideas and Projects - check this out if you want to see some of the tasty treats already fabricating within the guild.
Also, I would like to remind you that the email forwarding of your id@users.sourceforge.net alias is turned on and pointing to your desired email address so that people may easily contact you via the SourceForge mailing list. Most of the internal group communication will be done using the lists, however, there are times when specific people need to be contacted. http://sourceforge.net/project/memberlist.php?group_id=41657.
Currently, some new documents are under construction what will help new guild members understand CVS and SourceForge a little better. Keep checking back to see when these documents go live!
Also, before we get into other news, I would just like to wish everyone a happy and safe Easter Holiday!
New Projects
Since this is the first edition of the newsletter, I feel we might as well all take a look at the current projects underway.

New Members
Here is a list of some of the new members you may not know yet. Let's all give them some work to do!
And check it out: The 30th guild member! Seems that the DSDevGuild is growing by the day! So who might this mystery man be?
If anyone feels left out, that is probably because you got left out! But not on purpose, I assure you! So what you need to do is email me, dsdevguild_news@hotmail.com, and let me know who you are, and what you do!
Wow, the first edition of the newsletter has finally come to a close. I just want to thank everyone in the guild for making it such a great place to work. I look forward to all our future accomplishments!
Remember, be sure to let me in on all your news!
Also, if you all think it will be a good idea, we may be adding project team interviews and other great things to the newsletter in the near future!
I would like to thank everyone!
